PRIME HOGGS

The prime hogg trade is on the rise again, an overall average of 342p/kg was achieved, with hoggs selling to £205 or 405p/kg.

120 ewes were forward with all selling to a blistering trade, and many more are needed to fulfil buyers demand with ewes selling to £230.

SHEEP WITH LAMBS AT FOOT

The opening sale of sheep with lambs at foot was met with plenty of interest. Aged Mule ewes with Texel twin lambs from D&K Swarbrick, Out Rawcliffe saw their best sell to £268 per outfit, with other pens to £258 and £255 from the same good home.
