COVID-19 – Coronavirus Update
We can confirm that all our sales at both J36 Rural Auction Centre and Lancaster Auction Mart will be going ahead as normal and we are following the advice from Government and the Livestock Auctioneers Association.
HOWEVER, what we do ask is that you only attend the market if you are a vendor, buyer or haulier. We love seeing all our customers whether trading or not but we would prefer for NO visitors to attend the markets at this time.
For those attending the sales we would also ask that you make use of our hand washing facilities.
If you think you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or recently returned from a high-risk area please do not attend our markets, self-isolate and contact 111 for further help and information.
We also recommend that anyone who is classed as ‘at risk’ not attend any of our markets.
We will continue to monitor all advice given from the authorities and if anything changes in regards to the operating of sales will update you straight away.
If you are unsure whether or not you have symptoms of the Coronavirus please follow the link here to the NHS website for more advice. http://bit.ly/2IMS1TZ
If you are concerned about attending our markets please contact any member of our team and we can see how we can help you.
